Pick and Pack

eZee Warehouse can streamlined your warehouse pick process and has been designed to ensure quick, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment. Our system is built to make sure that your orders are picked, packed, and shipped with speed and care.Hand Held Terminals (HHTs)/scanners can be used to guid the operator through this pick process which will increase pick speed and accuracy.

Order Receipt & Confirmation

The process begins as soon as an order is received. The order is validate, check and once a pick list is created, sent to the order to the picking team.

Picking Method Selection

eZee Warehouse allows for variety of picking methods tailored to the size and complexity of the order. The most common methods include:

• Single Order Picking: One employee picks a single order at a time, ensuring accuracy.
• Batch Picking: Multiple orders are grouped together for efficient picking of shared items.
• Zone Picking: The warehouse is divided into zones, and each employee is responsible for picking items within their designated zone.

Picking & Inventory Location Optimization

Our system guides pickers to the most efficient route in the warehouse to minimize time spent walking and searching for products. Items are stored in pick locations with a pick sequence that is determined within the WMS this ensures a quicker pick time.

Packing & Labeling

Packing is crucial to ensure the items arrive at the customer undamaged. Fragile items need extra protection, and the box should be filled efficiently to avoid movement during transport. Operators can weigh the packed box and print a shipping label. With eZee API integrations, the tracking reference is passed back to the warehouse and if the order has been imported from a eCommerce store, the store will also be updated. The packed order is labelled and ready for courier collection.
